Solar PV plants are relatively easier to erect compared to the conventional power plants. However, given the huge volume of utility scale solar PV projects in pipeline today, the key to successful execution of a solar PV plant is to ensure that quality checks are made at regular intervals and stages, any quality lapse should be identified almost immediately for rectification, for any delay in detection of quality issues can either result in re-work or painful defects liability period. Furthermore, any negligence on quality issues resurfaces later as part or complete failure during the plant’s operation.

SGURRENERGY’S CONSTRUCTION MONITORING

A team of highly experienced members who have overlooked and managed several solar PV projects, well aware of all the nuances and intricacies involved in project monitoring for quality assurance during the implementation of the project. We ensure that all the project compliances by contractors and sub-contractors are adhered to. Our multi-disciplinary team is well-versed in construction monitoring, being able to identify and report any quality lapse and provide prompt remedial action to act upon without any delay to meet the project schedule and budget whilst also maintaining timely project records for smooth project handover.

Our
Proficiency –
Your Benefits

For complete quality control, we ensure that the design meets the quality standards and that the best industry standards are applied at every stage of the project. We follow approved project drawings during implementation and recommend following of only the most effective solar industry practices.

Timely updates on the project progress are provided to the developer, any deviation from design is notified for immediate attention of the developer and ensure corrective measures are taken to remedy for the deviation from the approved design to maintain quality and meet project timeline.

On-site inspection of all major components, adequacy of material delivered for erection, testing and commissioning.

Providing suitable mitigation measures and on-site solutions in response to the Request for Deviation (RFD) due to on site conditions, in consultation with design experts for immediate rectification at site.

End-to-end management of the project, whilst maintaining all project documents, records, logs and compliances verified on site for ensuring a timely and seamless project handover process.

To ensure construction quality of the project we assist the developer in producing key QA/QC documents required while performing each activity, which also helps the EPC for their close supervision and receiving compliances from subcontractors for maintaining project records.

Our Services

We conduct our on-site quality management
program to deliver the following documents

Weekly Construction
Appraisal

Weekly Progress Reports (WPR) which includes progress made during the week and comparing it to the projected schedule. The report also highlights critical concerns which may impact the commercial operation date of the project. Observed quality lapses, the associated risks and suggestions to mitigate the same are also provided

Critical Observation
Report (COR)

The report indicates major quality lapses by the contractor that requires immediate rectification. It is necessary to avoid these reoccurrences during the construction of project

Non-Conformity
Reports (NCR)

This report highlights observed non-conformities to agreed design, drawing and standard industry practices

Checklist Review
Report (CRR)

This report indicates all the important quality verifications to be included in checklists used by the EPC contractors

Punch Points List (PPL)

This list covers preparation of a comprehensive snag list for each modular block of the project to ensure the compliances of quality issues and completion of all pending works
